I believe booking thru this site was approx 3 euros more expensive than booking direct. We tried to board at Universitat but were turned away by the driver saying we had to go to another station to board. I'm not sure why that is the only station that is only a drop off when all the others are available to board. Its not a long walk to the next station, but it was unexpected. There are plenty of busses available and its a great service to use for easy access to and from the airport.

It was easy to use. There was some confustion at the airport as to which QR code was the correct one. The gentleman scanning tickets said I didn't have an AeroBus ticket and it was only the Hola Barcelona ticket. But I was able to find the correct QR code that worked. Since I am unfamiliar with the BCN airport or the language I did watch the videos on how to exit the airport to the bus stop and that was helpful.

Audio guide? There wasn't one... Luggage stowage suboptimal, especially when the bus is full! So, the statement that there is plenty of space for luggage only applies to half-full buses. However, as the crowds were exorbitantly large (we had to take 2 buses), large suitcases can hardly be accommodated. The park is beautiful! The Gaudi experience is another intriguing way to learn about his imagination and dedication to nature. We went early in the day (9:30a, June 7) and it was quite warm by the time we left about 11:30a. Make sure to wear sunscreen, hat, and take or buy water. The walk up to the higher levels is worth the climb! Remember that once you go down to the terrace (serpentine bench) you have "left" the park and would need to buy another ticket to get back in. I recommend the audio guide!

For those who visit this wonderful Park it would be congliabile to go in the morning at the opening so that it is not too crowded to take photos, already around 11.00 am it fills up, especially near the iconic "iguana" on the staircase. Mr. Albert did a very nice and good job even with the hot temperatures he really tried to keep it fun. Only thing unfortunate is that soon at the end we walked past the lizard so you had to find this again. Better have the end chat for this. It was an amazing way to see the city. The HOHO service was convenient when you know the stop but absolutely unhelpful when you are new to the city and not know where the exact t location of the meeting point was (I took a taxi to the Museu FC Barcelona meeting point and had to ask several people and walked back and forth to find the stop, while it would have been helpful to have a location intersection with street names). Also, the last stop was very unclear (19h00 vs the exact end time at the respe time stop).

They are not overcrowded and you can get on and off wherever you want. Perfect. Or you can leave one or two things for later. The two bus routes allow you to see areas that you would be unlikely to reach especially if you only have a few days. The cost is quite high but it is really worth it, I would definitely repurchase it! I would only recommend checking the audio stations on the older buses because several were not working and if the bus is full you may be walking around without the audio guide explaining where you are.

It's a hop-on hop-off package, but if you don't check the dates carefully, as I didn't, you risk getting tickets that don't match. It was a gamechanger. With one simple ticket you can travel as much as you like - by bus or by the metro. It really made a lot of things easier and the holdiday therefore more enjoyable.

You can move around Barcelona very flexibly. The metro is also pleasant. The buses are already unpleasantly overcrowded. If you book in advance via Headout, you can only get tickets from certain information points. We therefore had to pay an additional 5 euros for the journey there. You could have bought the Hola Barcelona ticket from any ticket machine.

First the digital purchase and app but you have to print it out afterwards and can't drive directly via the QR code in the app. What a pity. These passes are very practical and recommended if you're staying in Barcelona. However, be careful. If you buy them online, you can only pick them up at certain times in certain places. Don't be fooled like me if you arrive late in Barcelona, you won't be able to collect them until the following day. You can buy exactly the same passes from kiosks at any time, especially at the airport.
