  • The name Casa Terrades comes from the fact that it was built for 3 Terrades sisters in the 20th century, by the architect Josep Puig I Cadafalch.  The 3 sisters Josefa, Rosa, and Angela owned three buildings standing between the Avinguda Diagonal, Carrer Rosselló and Carrer Bruc. 
  • The structure represents the characters of the three owners. A plastic panel located, for example, forms an angel on the facade. The daughter Angela Terradas is depicted in this figure. A vase full of roses, Rosa's symbol, is depicted on a different panel.
  • There's also a ceramic tile that honours St. George by depicting him slaying a dragon.
  • Along with an extraordinary interior, the Casa De Les Punxes interior holds a giant sundial & a calendar with Roman Numerals representing the 4 zodiac signs: Capricorn for the winter, Aries for the spring, Cancer for the summer and Libra for the autumn.
