The name Casa Terrades comes from the fact that it was built for 3 Terrades sisters in the 20th century, by the architect Josep Puig I Cadafalch. The 3 sisters Josefa, Rosa, and Angela owned three buildings standing between the Avinguda Diagonal, Carrer Rosselló and Carrer Bruc.
The structure represents the characters of the three owners. A plastic panel located, for example, forms an angel on the facade. The daughter Angela Terradas is depicted in this figure. A vase full of roses, Rosa's symbol, is depicted on a different panel.
There's also a ceramic tile that honours St. George by depicting him slaying a dragon.
