  • Admission card for residents: If you’re from La Salut, Vallcarca-Penitents, El Coll, Can Baró, El Baix Guinardó, or El Carmel, you can score a non-transferable resident card. Just call 010 or hop onto the city’s website to apply. Flash that card at the gate, and you're in.
  • Gaudir Més member: If you’re part of the Gaudir Més program, you can waltz into Park Güell for free anytime. Not a member yet? It’s quick and easy to join via the Gaudir Més website.

Want the park all to yourself? Skip the tourist crowds and enjoy Gaudí’s masterpiece at its quietest during these hours, as the park is reserved exclusively for locals:

Take the green line (L3). You can either alight at Lesseps or at Vallcarca station. If you alight at Vallcarca, take the escalator on Baixada de la Glòria. Both are a 20-minute walk away from the Park Güell entrance on Avinguda del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya.

Hop aboard a Barcelona hop-on hop-off bus and glide your way to Park Güell without breaking a sweat. Just hop off at the stop called Park Güell, located on Avinguda de la Mare de Déu de Montserrat. From there, it’s a breezy 10-minute walk to the park and enter via the Carretera del Carmel entrance.

It is not recommended as you might find it difficult to locate a parking space. The parking spaces around the park are in a green area exclusively for residents. Visitors arriving can choose to opt for a paid parking facility. Park Güell has two taxi stands located on ​Rambla de Mercedes and ​Carretera del Carmel.
