Take the green line (L3), and alight at either Lesseps or Vallcarca stations.

From the Lesseps stop, the Avinguda del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya entrance is the closest point of entry. From the Vallcarca, take the escalator on Baixada de la Glòria and head to the entrance on Avinguda del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya. From both stops, it will take you 20 minutes to reach Park Guell. You may want to take a taxi or a bus from the station as the route to the park is uphill.

You can take bus no H6 or D40. Get off at the Travessera de Dalt bus stop. From here, a quick 10-minute walk will take you to Park Guell. You can enter from either Avinguda del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntaya, or from Carrer de Larrard.

You can also take the bus lines 24 and 92. Both halt at Carretera del Carmel-Park Güell, which is right across the park’s main entrance.

Driving to Park Guell

The fastest route would be to get on highway C-58. Exit on 23B to reach Park Güell/Carrer d'Olot. However, driving down to Park Guell is highly discouraged. Apart from having to deal with the traffic, having to find parking nearby makes it an extremely tiring process. Most of the parking spaces around the park are in a green area exclusively for residents. You will have to resort to paid parking facilities nearby.

Of course, taking a taxi would be a smarter option as it will allow you to skip the hassle of walking uphill. However, do ask them to drop you off at the Carrera del Carmel entrance.

Park Guell Parking

Walking is a great way to explore Barcelona, and Park Güell is easily accessible by foot from many nearby neighborhoods. If you're staying in the Gracia or El Carmel neighborhoods, it's a pleasant walk to the park entrance.

From the Gracia neighborhood, take the Carrer de Gran de Gracia and walk uphill until you reach Carrer de Larrard. From there, turn right and follow the signs to Park Güell. The walk should take around 25-30 minutes, depending on your walking speed.

Alternatively, from El Carmel, take the escalators up to Carrer de Massens and then walk along Carrer del Taquigraf Garriga until you reach the park entrance. The walk should take around 20-25 minutes, depending on your walking speed.

Budget-friendly: If you're looking for a budget-friendly way to reach Park Güell, taking the metro is the best option. The L3 line will take you to either the Lesseps or Vallcarca station, both of which are a 15-20 minute walk to the park entrance.

Fastest way: If you're short on time and don't want to waste any minutes, taking a taxi to Park Güell is the best option. Taxis are readily available throughout Barcelona and will drop you off directly at the park entrance.
