The truth is, we had a great day—from the moment we took the funicular to enjoying the rides; the park has a really beautiful view.

I really appreciated the kindness of the people who welcome us tourists to these popular spots. Despite my somewhat rudimentary "Spanish," everyone was more than happy to give me information. Accompanied by bright sunshine, I immersed myself in the magic of Gaudí. A delightful detail: in a picturesque corner of Parc Güell, a young musician was playing the guitar and singing. She had a beautiful voice and an original style. It was very relaxing. In conclusion, I hope everyone gets the chance to visit these places. And I recommend that everyone book their admission tickets in advance. They were sold out everywhere. Have a great trip!

Simply absolutely sensational! We were already very impressed by Casa Milà (Casa Pedreira) and its history, which we were able to explore at our own pace thanks to an excellent audio guide. But Casa Battlò took it to the next level. We were simply speechless at the exuberant, fantastic creativity of Antoni Gaudí. The excellent audio guide helped us better understand Gaudí’s intentions and ideas. Taking a break at the small, charming café on the second-floor terrace and visiting the rooftop terrace are also well worth it. Tip: Buy tickets BEFORE you arrive, if possible. And: The earlier in the day you schedule your visit to these two unique buildings, the more space you’ll have, since there aren’t as many tourists yet.

Someone once told me that even if I never went to Barcelona before, even if I didn't know who Gaudí was, I'd still recognize Casa Battlo as his work. They were absolutely right. The best description for this place is - out of this world. I felt as if I traveled in time, but towards the future. Breathtaking. Casa Amatller was designed by Josep Cadafalch, him I did not know about. After exiting Casa Amatller I made sure to read about him and learn what other places he designed. The house reminded me a little of the castles in my home country, Romania, but sprinkled with a unique touch of Spanish history. I loved it. If you would ask me, don't miss any of them. Visit both, they are amazing, you will not regret it.

The organization was excellent; even though there were a lot of people in line, everything went smoothly, and we got through security without any hassle. We received help whenever we had questions. The audio-guided tour was fantastic—I could listen again to anything I might have missed due to distraction. A fantastic experience!

Top things to do in Barcelona

Why take the Park Güell audio guide?

More about Park Güell

It tells you why things matter

Sure, Gaudí’s architecture is gorgeous, but the audio guide goes deeper. You’ll find out why those columns lean like that, what’s hiding behind that mosaic, and how a lizard ended up being the park’s unofficial mascot. With the Park Güell audio guide, every detail has a story, and you'll hear them all.

Available in 5 languages

No need to squint at multilingual signs or miss out on the good stuff. The Park Güell audio guide app is available in English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian, so you can explore in the language that feels most natural to you.

Group travel made easy

The Dragon Fountain (El Drac)

Meet the star of the park, and possibly the most photogenic lizard in Spain. Covered in colorful mosaic tiles, this dragon guards the entrance like a mythical gatekeeper. Your Park Güell audio guide spills all the tea: Why a dragon? What’s with the broken tile art? And yes, there’s symbolism involved, because Gaudí never just decorated.

What’s inside Park Güell?

The Serpentine Bench

Ever sat on a rainbow? Now’s your chance. This 110-meter-long, squiggly bench wraps around the main terrace like a giant psychedelic snake. The guide explains how it was built to fit the human body perfectly and how Gaudí literally invited the city to sit and enjoy the view.

The Laundry Room portico

No, it’s not where you drop off your clothes. This twisty tunnel of leaning columns was once designed as a shortcut for the housekeeper. The audio guide paints the picture of daily life in early 1900s Barcelona, and you’ll find out why these columns look like they’ve had one too many sangrias.

The Hypostyle Room

It’s not a Greek temple, but it sure looks like one. With 86 towering columns and a ceiling full of hidden geometric surprises, this room was meant to be a market space. Your Park Güell audio tour reveals Gaudí’s obsession with nature and how even the acoustics here were engineered to perfection.

Panoramic views of Barcelona

From the main terrace, the city unfolds beneath you with the Mediterranean glinting in the distance. Your guide will even point out iconic landmarks on the skyline—hello, Sagrada Família—so you know exactly what you’re looking at.

The Austria Gardens

Need a breather? Wander into this leafy corner, once used as a plant nursery and now the park’s best chill-out spot. The audio guide gives you a moment of zen and a few facts while you recharge among the greenery.
